If you want to use Desmos to do animation you need to use the clock function built into the slider. If you wish for people to interact with your artwork you can use the clickable option to allow for buttons or inputs.
After creating a variable you can use the pause play button to start the timer. Click the arrows to change the movement characteristics, and the slider to change the limits. There Is also a ticker feature but I never use it so I don't know how to use it.
*Use less or greater than in brackets to limit where or when an object shows up.
Desmos slider function works like a clock, changing a variable alowing for movement.
To move an object using timer you put the timer value in the x or y spot on the point you wish to use. If you want to make the movement more complicated you can put the timer value in an equation and have said equation hit the value you want at the correct time. Check out part regression for that. You can also input the points in the polygon equation to move shapes.
Artist can use time and some math to make points move around the screen.
Select a object with highlight part like you would to change color. Then click the Clickable button. from there you can control any value you want by putting in the value -> what you want the value to be. You can also have values change relative to what they where like T->T+1.
Use Inputs to allow people to inreact with and cornrol your art work.
Now using these techniques go try to make some of your own artwork. Try to make something move form one side of the screen to the other or a simple stop light.
